Temporary Respite Care
Caring for a loved one at the end of life is deeply meaningful—but it can also be physically and emotionally exhausting. Our hospice program offers short-term respite care to provide family caregivers with essential time to rest, recover, or attend to personal needs. While the caregiver steps away, we ensure the patient continues to receive compassionate, uninterrupted care in a supportive setting.
What respite care includes:
Up to 5 consecutive days of temporary care in an inpatient hospice facility, nursing home, or hospital, fully covered by Medicare when medically appropriate.
24/7 professional support for the patient during the respite period, including nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support.
Safe, comfortable environment designed to maintain dignity and comfort, with attention to individual needs and preferences.
Seamless transition in and out of respite care, ensuring continuity in the patient’s care plan and minimizing stress for both patient and family.
Emotional peace of mind for caregivers, knowing their loved one is in the hands of experienced hospice professionals.
Opportunity for caregivers to rest and recharge, attend important personal appointments, or simply take a break to reduce stress and prevent burnout.
